We’re Hiring: Outreach Coordinator
Are you passionate about libraries and helping your community? The library is accepting applications for an Outreach Coordinator position through the end of August 2026. This is a full-time position (37–40 hours per week) with occasional evening and Saturday hours as needed.
Outreach Coordinator job duties include:
- Collaborate with staff to support the library’s advocacy and public awareness efforts. Attend community events to promote library services and resources.
- Seek opportunities to bring library services off-site or in partnership with local institutions.
- Provide targeted off-site programming related to the mission of the library for all ages.
- Create promotional materials and publicize programs and services.
- Promote library programs, collections, and services through presentations, social media, print materials, and other marketing methods.
- Identify and engage underserved populations to improve access to library resources.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with civic organizations, businesses, and community groups.
- Represent the library at community events, meetings, fairs, and festivals.
- Track outreach activities and prepare reports and statistics.
- Assist with library programming, strategic initiatives, and special projects.
- Attend workshops, meetings, and continuing education opportunities as approved.
- All duties of Page and Circulation Clerk I when needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
