Help plan exciting programs for kids and teens. Create fun decorations and displays for the library. Volunteer at library events and make a positive impact. Meet new friends, and help shape the library for your community. Join YAC and let your creativity and ideas shine!
The Game Table
3rd Wednesday | 3:15pm | Grades 4+ | Teen Space
Pull up a chair! Hang out, snack, and get your game on as we roll dice, play cards, and challenge each other to fun board games.
Type Race
Monday-Friday | 3:15pm-5pm | Grades 4+ | Media Lab
Race your friends and prove your typing skills. Finish a round in the Media Lab each week for a sweet treat. Each month’s leaderboard and challenge is on display on the Media Lab TV.
Mango Madness
Monday-Friday | 3:15pm-5pm | Grades 5+ | Media Lab
Complete a lesson in Mango Languages each week for a sweet treat. Parent/Guardian consent is needed for kids under 13 years to create a Mango Languages account. Consent forms with instructions on how to set parental content restrictions in the app can be picked up in the Media Lab.
Trivia Night
3rd Tuesday | 5:30 – 6:30 pm | Ages 18+
Test your knowledge with some friendly competition. Light refreshments served.
Meeples Meetup (Board Games)

Share the spirit of Halloween by donating gently used costumes you no longer need, then browse our collection to discover your perfect look for this year’s celebrations. From spooky to silly, there’s something for everyone. No donation is required to take a costume. Pumpkin Decorating Contest
October 21-28
Pumpkin pick up is Octboer 16-18, while supplies last. Return decorated pumpkins by October 20. No carved pumpkins please, they will not be accepted. Voting takes place October 21-29, and winner will be announced October 30. Please collect your pumpkin October 30-31, just in time for Halloween!
